Greetings and welcome to the Newnan Handyman blog. I am Mr. Wayne, your community handyman. I’m not the only handyman in Newnan, of course, there are many others that are likely younger and more experienced than I and, I don’t want to take work away from anyone or interfere in any successful working relationship. In fact, I am seeking ways to bring together skilled handymen as well as those who wish to gain experience at becoming a handyman.
If you are seeking a handyman distinguished by a long line of handymen then look elsewhere because it ain’t me. I started as a handyman after praying for guidance from the Holy Spirit. You see, I’ve been sitting behind a computer for so long that I forgot about my walk as a disciple of Yeshua. After spending the last ten years working from home, isolating from this crazy world, I effectively became a hermit.
After my IT assignment ended in May of 2020 and decided not to return to my career of 37 years. I was searching for a deeper way to serve our community and ultimately serve Yeshua. After so many years behind a computer terminal, doing wonderful things for people who needed their computers to work for them rather than the other way around, it was past time to begin reaching out to our community.
Social media was always meant to be an integral part of the handyman initiative however, it was placed on the back burner as life out in the field, where things rarely go as planned, began to unfold. After two years, I now have a better sense of what it is that I am trying to accomplish. Originally, I planned to have a site where my portfolio can be presented and where I could have videos of my experiences. I soon found out that I am a lousy cameraman. It seemed that I was working for the GoPro more that working on the project at hand. I opted to focus completing the work that people were paying for and work out the social media later.
So, here is the beginnings of the Newnan Handyman blogsite. The past two years have been very interesting to say the least. The Lord has been very active in my life and I just pray that I can build what He is creating. He is showing me things beyond the scope of handyman and has put it on my heart to study common law and trust law which has opened up tremendous freedom for me. Still, I am somewhat limited by this worldly body that is supposed be preparing for retirement.
Anyway, my goal is to have a site that is educational and entertaining, maybe even inspiring however that shapes up. I plan to cover a lot of different topics here based on my personal experiences which may not always be of a handyman nature.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
May Yeshua bless you and keep you.
May Yeshua make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May Yeshua turn His face toward you and give you peace.
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Messiah Yeshua to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. – Ephesians 2:10
